What is DIM Weight?
Dimensional (DIM) weight pricing is an advanced formula that carriers use to determine shipping costs based on package volume, ensuring efficient use of cargo space.
Measure Your Package
Measure length, width, and height in inches. Multiply these numbers together to get the cubic size.
Calculate DIM Weight
Divide the cubic size by the DIM factor (usually 139 for domestic shipments) to get the dimensional weight.
Compare Weights
The shipping rate will be based on the greater of the actual weight or the dimensional weight.
